A few differences between the Bible and the Quran, out of hundreds more:
In case anyone’s ever wondering…
The following was a comment to a post:
*The Allah of the Quran is called the greatest of deceivers, the God of the Bible, YWHY, (also known in physical form as Jesus) says that the Devil is the father of lies.
*The Allah of the Quran does not love anyone but a devout Muslim, the God of the Bible loves even His enemies.
*The Quran commands Muslims to commit ongoing violence and intolerance towards unbelievers, the Bible commands Christians to love not only each other, but even our enemies. Jesus said: “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and despitefully use you” – a far cry from the Quran.
*The Bible shows that the way to peace is through the Only Begotten Son of God (the Prince of Peace), who came to the Earth, died for the sins of the world, and resurrected on the third day, and that we as people need to accept that and be born again, through the Spirit of God coming inside of us when we believe in Jesus and what He has done – this frees us from the bondage of sin, and fills us with the life of God to live a new life. Ultimately, in the end, Jesus will judge all people, and God will live on Earth with men in a new Heaven and new Earth.. the Quran denies or twists all of this.
*The Bible was written over thousands of years, with multiple authors, all with the same message and a consent line of prophesies pointing to the coming Messiah (Jesus), who is also described as being God Himself coming to Earth – and proved Himself in the person of Jesus through miracles, teaching, prophesying, prophesy fulfillment, and rising from the dead. The Quran is debateable about over how long of a period it was written, but it is ABOUT the life of a single man (about 60 years, yes?), and claims that he’s the seal and greatest of all prophets, who first claimed to affirm the Torah and the Gospel, but then formulates a religion that completely contradicts and nullifies them, never did any miracles, never fulfilled any prophesy, accept the descriptions in the Bible of a false prophet, and the promise of Jesus to His followers that people will kill them and think that they are doing God a favor, all negative attributes.
*Heaven for Christians is with God, no more marriage or carnal human desires. And to get there is by putting your trust in what GOD HAS DONE FOR YOU. Paradise for Muslims is a place to fulfill all of their carnal desires… tens if not hundreds of eternally virgin sex machines, while their wives wait in the corner, rivers of wine, etc, no mention of them being their in the presence of Allah or enjoying him in anyway. And the way to get there is through what YOU THINK YOU CAN DO TO EARN YOUR SALVATION. While Christianity teaches that you get into Heaven through the shed blood of God in the flesh, the Lamb of God, Jesus the Messiah of the world, Islam teaches that you get into paradise through spilling your own blood and the blood of ‘non-believers’ (which itself is a bit of a vague term, as it can apply to Muslims that other Muslims deem to be hypocrites).
*Christianity teaches that true good works come AFTER we are Born Again, through the power of the Spirit of God inside of us, and that outside of that, God sees all of our ‘good works’ (which are really attempts to justify ourselves and earn points to get to heaven on our own merit) as filthy rags… Islam teaches people to try to rack up these filthy rags — and not even in the same way that Christians would consider ‘good works’ – going to Mecca, for example, and counting your steps, and all the things you do there… all count as supposed “good works” … nothing more than filthy rags, and superstitions stolen from pagans.
*True Christianity brings peace if it is the prevailing factor in a region, true Islam brings destruction, sickness, and poverty if it is the prevailing factor in a region.
*Christianity teaches us to live at peace with all men, Islam teaches its followers to subjugate and abuse non-believers… if they haven’t already been killed, converted, or banished (abused second class citizenship is only allowed for Jews and Christians… again, if they haven’t been killed, and aren’t converted or banished).
*Just a few examples, there are many more. I’m actually quite surprised at your argument. Ravi Zacharias said something to the effect that all religions are fundamentally different, and at best they are superficially similar… and he’s absolutely right.
By the way, it’s called the Judeo-Christian faith, the Old Testament and the New Testament, for a reason… the former was paving the way for it’s culmination in the latter for the Way to salvation and redemption of the world (including for you) to be made possible. Islam was not needed, and in fact contradicts, denies, twists, and completely misses the plan and the way of Salvation that the True One and Only God ordained beforehand.
You’re idea is that all religions simply teach us how to live, which is all that’s needed, and that all religions teach the same way of how to live, thus all religions are the same. This is fundamentally false. Christianity teaches that we cannot truly live the right way until we have been Born Again and filled with the Spirit of God… the source of life, and that was only made possible through the shed blood of the Messiah. It’s the New Covenant, which opens the way of salvation. It’s God reaching down to man because He saw that we cannot save ourselves, and we cannot live up to His standards on our own. Islam not only doesn’t teach the true God’s standards, but it also only teaches that your own works is what gets you into heaven.
You need to put your trust in Jesus Christ, learn of Him, who He is, and what He’s done for you, accept that, tell Him that you’re a sinner in need of His forgiveness, that you want Him as Lord of your life, that you want Him to give you eternal life (He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, the Light of the World, the Word of God). Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, to accept you into His Kingdom, and to fill you with His Holy Spirit. And then turn from your wicked ways, and live for Him, through His empowering Holy Spirit, and the knowledge of His Word (the Bible). Spend time in His Word, and in prayer and worship, and find a good, Bible believing/teaching body of believers that can help you grow.
If you sincerely seek Him with your whole heart, He will answer you. The Bible says that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

Answering a claim that all Muslims are portrayed badly. She is a fiery one, and she has a reason to be. She was born in a largely Christian country in the Middle East, and witnessed Islam wipe it out, killing her parents, and being saved by Israeli soldiers, whom, despite being a Christian, she was always taught were the bad guys (which is not the case)… from the local radio, etc.
Tommy Robinson:
Al Jazeera Cuts Tommy Robinson Because he Tells The Truth About Mohammed. Tommy asks the Western host of Al Jazeera if he’s free to criticize Muhammad in Saudi Arabia, the man beats around the bush, and says that he’s free to discuss the prophet with his colleagues (I will say the false prophet). However, when Tommy starts talking just a little bit about Muhammad’s unsavory life, the network seamlessly cuts that part out, as it cuts back and fourth between the guest and the host! Thankfully, Tommy was making his own recording of the interview, just in case.
